About us
A historic trading post on the edge of a 2,040-acre mountain lake, in the care of Ted & Tammy since 2019.
In 2019 a new chapter began for Taylor Park Trading Post, founded in 1940. New management breathed fresh life into the place while keeping its heritage and charm.
The cabins, RV park and restaurant sit on the edge of Taylor Reservoir — a 2,040-acre mountain lake, deep, clear and full of fish. Below the dam is a trophy trout fishery.
Step out of your cabin or RV and you’re in the Gunnison National Forest, with hundreds of miles of trails at your doorstep. Hop on your ATV or UTV and go — no trailering required.
There’s a cell tower on the property, so you can stay in touch and share the trip.
We’re more than a destination; we’re a community. Every year we welcome back guests who reserve their spot for the next year’s adventure.
